October 2020: RedMod Workshop III

The third and extraordinary workshop is entitled to present the current state of the art of each project partner. We will look for further links and cooperations between the project partners for the last phase of the project, we will discuss the long-term potential of advancements so far and we will outline further goals beyond the project.

Heiligenhafen (Hendrik Weidemann)

The second workshop made the project scientists familiar with a set of new methods. In advance of the 1-week hands-on event the test cases were fully prepared, so that they were available for use during the event. The scientists used these test cases for hands on exercises and benchmarks to implement different prototype methods for different test cases and further development.

May 2018: RedMod Workshop I

Reduced Complexity Models RedMod Workshop I Wessling

Weßling (Hendrik Weidemann)

The aim of the first workshop was to define test cases to be handled on a PC/laptop. The test cases will emulate the different use cases for the developmental work. The test cases are smaller versions of the computationally expensive use cases.

December 2017: RedMod Kick-Off-Meeting

Reduced Complexity Models RedMod Kick-Off KDM-Lounge HH

KDM-Lounge Hamburg (Birgit Hünicke)

The project kickoff-meeting initiated the project dialog and the project partner got to know each other. The use cases and the modelling and data science methods used by the partners were presented in detail, including underlying dynamic and mathematical principles. The project partner developed a common language and exchanged concrete ideas and identified requirements for method developments out of the needs for the specific use cases. Working teams and key responsibilities were identified to jointly work and discussed the development of test cases and methods development.
